Hi, I’m Kelsey.
A curious and compassionate trauma-informed therapist seeing clients in-person in Seattle, WA and virtually throughout Washington.
I’m a therapist based in Seattle, WA who values humor, honesty, and believes in the powerful resilience of humans. I’m also a human who gets the messiness, nuance, complexity, and joy that comes with being alive. I see this as a grounding space for us to keep growing towards fulfilment and flourishing. My practice is grounded in our shared human-ness - my hope is to always create a space of warmth, curiosity, and authenticity. And it is in that space I invite you to show up just as you are.
I come to therapy with deep admiration and respect for those who are willing to take a deeper look at their pain, shame, grief, and fear. I felt called to this work through my own ongoing journey of healing loudly and self discovery. I truly believe that healing doesn’t happen alone, we need to be witnessed and seen - we don’t need to figure it all out by ourselves.
A Little About Me
I was raised on the West Coast of the US, calling California, Oregon, and Washington home throughout my life. I have called Seattle home for over a decade, now. I have a deep love for mountains, water you can swim in, and sunshine. You can often find me strolling around the city (probably complaining if I’m walking up a hill) and walking my dog. I love being outside in the rain, snow, and sun and sipping on a diet coke or coffee. I love moving my body and teaching spin at a local fitness studio. I also love having an eclectic range of interests, including kpop, vegan and vegetarian recipe testing, light-roasted coffee, reading, running on trails, and listening to loud EDM and house music.
I attended Seattle Pacific University and received my Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Theology. I then attended Princeton Theological Seminary, where I earned a Master’s in Divinity, with an emphasis in women and gender studies. Throughout my twenties I worked in religious non-profits - connecting with people, learning their stories, working with youth and refugee populations, those experiencing homelessness, and children. I am grateful to have been part of diverse, multi-ethnic spaces where I was always learning and growing.
During my time in Princeton I always had an inkling I wanted to be a therapist, but never pursued it. But, as I did more one-on-one work with folks I felt more and more drawn to the work of therapy. So, I swapped paths and started running full speed ahead to becoming a therapist. I interned at a behavioral health agency, seeing children, teens, individual adults, and couples. I graduated with a Master of Science in Marriage in Family Therapy from Seattle Pacific University in 2026.
I come to therapy humbly learning and growing about my identities, and I hope to always acknowledge yours, too. I am a spiritual, woo-woo, humor-informed therapist, who is committed to pursuing my growth as a clinician through ongoing supervision, trainings, anti-racist, and anti-homophobic/ transphobic development. I am always practicing apologizing, acknowledging my mistakes, and seeking repair.
I relate deeply with Matilda by Harry Styles and Willing and Able by Noah Kahan. I love the entire Golden Hour album by Kacey Musgraves and you can find me crying at HopeCore videos on tiktok.
